Villa Ferola is located on the south coast just west of the town of Matara.  The venue is composed of two separate Sri Lankan homes that have been converted into guesthouses.   The homes are only a 5 minute walk from each other.  No matter which house you are staying in you have full access of both properties.

The ocean is directly in front of the main house (in the photos here) and you can hear the waves from your bed.  After yoga you can dip in the sea and if you go snorkeling there is a good chance you will see turtles directly in front of the house.

At the villa we have shared double rooms available.   You will only be asked to share with a yoga student of the same gender.  All rooms have an en suite bathroom.

Dates:   Christmas 2019 dates coming soon.

Rates are per person and include a big breakfast after yoga, delicious rice and curry dinner, snacks in the afternoon, two coconuts per day, filtered water, wifi, and use of snorkeling equipment. Remember the yoga fee is separate and listed below.

Total cost for lodging, meals, and built in 10% service charge for local staff.   (Yoga is separate)

GETTING TO VILLA FEROLA:

The easiest way to get from the airport is by taxi.  If we send a taxi it is $80 USD OR 14000 rupees.  You may be able to get one using Uber for less or negotiate at the airport with drivers.

The budget option is to go to "Kadawatha bus station" which is about 45 minutes from the airport.    It might cost $10 or $15 in a tuk tuk or Uber.   From there you can catch an AC bus that goes on the Souther Expressway.   Buses run from about 5AM to 7PM.

See this link:  http://routemaster.lk/bus/ex-1-22/

The bus will be around 500 or 600 rupees.   From Matara bus station hire a tuk-tuk.  It should be about 250 or 300 rupees.

It is possible to go into Colombo city center and catch a train down the coast but this would take more time and hassle.   The bus avoids going into the city center.   If you want to use the train go to Colombo Fort and check this website for the schedule:

Safe travels and see you there!
