Beaches

Rocky Point is situated in a quiet, secluded cove, where local fishermen keep their boats and bring in fresh fish several times a week. There are tide pools to explore and a rocky peninsula for enjoying.   

There are beaches on either side of us.  To our west is a beautiful bay and beach called Silent Beach. This is a favorite swimming place, where you can have a long swim across the bay or stay within a protected area. The sands are pristine white and the water is turquoise.

On the other side of Rocky Point is Palm Paradise Beach, named for the resort located there.  This beach is a good afternoon place for catching waves on boogie boards or body surfing.  There are also some fish shacks where you can purchase food and drinks. 

All the beaches are white sand, with many shells, and lined with coconut palms. These uncrowded beaches are very nice for walking, reading, and relaxing.
