Marco Polo’s impression of Sri Lanka was that “This is the finest island in all the world.”
Sri Lanka is a small island with much diversity. Temples, jungles, beaches, ancient ruins, mountains, lakes and many beautiful rivers are all accessible. We can arrange for you individual and group trips. There is also a wonderful old train that runs through the mountainous areas. With so much to see and do, we recommend visiting these links: Tourist Board web site at http://www.srilankatourism.org Lonely Planet http://www.lonelyplanet.com
Community Involvement We have been working with a local organization, Navajeevana, for several years. They serve handicapped children and adults in various ways, including a local day school as well as several village schools. They also provide healthcare in the surrounding villages, and were life savers after the tsunami of 2004. If you have any interest in volunteering or supporting a local foundation of this kind, we are happy to connect you with them. http://www.navajeevana.com
